Banani Facade Restoration
Waterproofing, re-pointing and facade renewal for a 15-year-old commercial building — done while tenants stayed open.
The project
A fifteen-year-old Banani commercial building was losing its envelope: persistent leaks, spalling concrete and staining. The restoration re-waterproofed the roof and exterior walls, repaired distressed concrete and re-pointed the full facade.
All works were phased floor-by-floor from the outside, so the building's tenants continued operating throughout — a sequencing challenge that shaped the entire programme.
NJ provided both the engineering assessment and the construction management, with a materials engineer signifying off each repair stage before surface finishing closed it in.
