Savar Factory Expansion
A steel-frame production hall expansion, engineered to keep the existing line running throughout construction.
The project
A garment manufacturer is expanding capacity with a new 20,000 sq ft production hall adjoining its live factory. The steel frame is engineered for wide column spacing to keep production layouts flexible.
Construction sequencing is designed around the operating factory — deliveries are scheduled off-peak, and the connection point between old and new buildings is engineered so the existing roof is only opened for a single 48-hour window.
The project is currently at steel erection stage, with civil foundations complete and the roof cladding sequence underway.
